Happy 13th Birthday Ashton!! Our second child is finally a teenager. Do they grow up fast or what!! Again, we went to Todai's for dinner. You have to love the place - all you can eat buffet, growing kids eating all the seafood that their eyes can take, and unlimited desserts! Ashton's favorite - shrimp, crab, and creme brulee. Yet the ultimate dish for this party was bowls and bowls of manilla clams. I counted at least a minimum of 10 bowls/servings. Incredible! So what do you get a young teenager? We broke down and gave him a cell phone. The excitement, the big surprise, and unending smile from ear to ear was worth it!! Its really cute to watch him make phone calls, and not want to let go of his phone. And although no one really knows his number - seeing him anticipate a phone call makes us just giggle.
