L.O.V.E. defined

Our church is going through some changes and is hoping we will find 'love' with this change. Yesterdays service focused on LOVE. And although the focus was on these changes, i found it very deep in ways I would like to use in my life.

Love is:

• a choice and committment
• unconditional
• hard work and long term
• transparent and trusting
• unselfish
• lived out in actions

Love is not:

• easy/instant
• based on feelings
• a dating mentality
• self-focused
• just talk

Love applied:

• Accept God's assignment
• choose to be a team
• lay the groundwork (be flexible, give respect, embrace changes)
• committ to the process
• experience the results

LOVE'S RESPONSE:

"SIMPLY LOVE" - a covenant with God and each other
